About Us

NARF Sheffield has over 200 members and our aim is to:

  • To promote and safeguard the interest of our members, and their dependants.
  • To promote members welfare, companionship and social contacts.
  • To maintain links between retired friends and colleagues, and with South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service

We are one of the four branches which encompass the area served by South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue. The other branches are:

  • Barnsley
  • Doncaster, and
  • Rotherham

Membership of NARF costs £0.50p per month, and all former members of SYFR may join the Association via this site. Please use this link to download the application form.

If you wish to continue to receive the NARF Newsletter and other information, please make sure you update your address details, as SYFR do not always inform us of these changes.

The elected officials of the Sheffield Branch are:

Chair: Pete Baggaley
Secretary: Ted Mullins
Treasurer: Dave Lockwood
Welfare Rep: Terry Smith

The Branch meets on a quarterly basis at the Showroom and Workstation, Paternoster Row, Sheffield. The date and time of the next meeting is displayed on the Meetings Page.
